Dr. Vijay Kumar Agrawal currently is Director of National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training & Research, Bhopal, India. During last 28 years, he held several positions of eminence such as Member, Executive Council; Dean, Faculty of Science; Dean, faculty of Home Science, and Professor at APS University, Rewa, India, and has been a senior administrative head of more than 15 assignments like Dean, students welfare etc. Dr. Agrawal is a recipient of UNESCO fellowship in 1990 and visited Japan for higher research where he received PGD degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He was awarded two research projects by AICTE and other three projects by the UGC related to computer aided drug designing &QSAR studies on some Kinase Inhibitors designing of some anti-HIV agents. He has been a distinguished invited speaker of International Conference on TOPMOL, 2006 held at Romania. He has delivered more than fifty lectures for UGC refresher courses organized by different national universities in India. Dr. Agrawal has published more than 150 research papers, and worked with the most renowned scientists of the world. He is recipient of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla award for popular Science Book in 1991, and has authored 12 books. He has been associated with editorial boards of various journals, and for 20 books he worked as one of the editor. He has been a distinguished Ph.D guide of 30 scholars, and 10 more candidates are pursuing their research under his able supervision. In pursuit of his academic and professional interests Dr. Agrawal visited Japan, Romania, and SriLanka. He is fellow of Indian Chemical Society, and life member of National Academy of Sciences. |
