During BOG meeting on 15th Feb 2010 at Aurangabad Principals of Engineering colleges and polytechnics were invited to discuss the issues related to Technical education in the state of Maharashtra. Prominent among them were Prof. Amitabha Ghosh, Prof. Vijay K Agrawal, Prof. S.K. Mahajan DTE M.S., Sri Ashish Dongare, DTE M.P., Prof. R.G. Chouksey, Sri S.N. Singh, Dr. Ajit Thete, Joint Director, Tech. Ed. Aurangabad, Prof. Dhanokar, Director MSBTE, Dr. Deshmukh, Dr. Geeta Latkar, Dr. Thorat, and Prof. Sanjay Agrawal. While addressing the meeting  Prof. Ghosh reiterated the need of excellence in Technical Teachers' Training programme and also discussed the issues in the area of research and domain knowledge. During the function the News Letter " Sampark Sarita" was released by the honrable Chairman and other digniteries present.
