About the Programme
The National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal invites applications from motivated students and recent graduates for participation in its Internship Programme. The programme provides hands-on exposure to research, innovation, product development, consultancy, academic projects, digital transformation initiatives, laboratory development, instructional design, emerging technologies, and institutional operations.
Internships are offered by various Departments, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Extension Centres, Library, and Administrative Sections of the Institute on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Internship Categories
Category A: Free Internship
- No fee is charged.
- Primarily intended for dissertation, thesis, project work, academic reports and experiential learning.
- Suitable for students seeking academic exposure and supervised project experience.
Category B: Paid Internship
- Offered against projects with clearly defined objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Eligible interns may receive a stipend as per approved norms.
- Current approved stipend: ₹9,000 per month (subject to project funding availability).
Category C: Charged Internship
- Applicable where substantial institutional resources are utilised, including laboratories, specialised software, equipment, infrastructure or expert mentoring.
- Fees may be levied as per applicable Institute norms.
Duration of Internship
Short-Term Internship
- Duration: Approximately 2 Months
- Category: Paid Internship (Category B)
- Outcome: Project deliverables and completion report
Long-Term Internship
- Duration: Approximately 3–6 Months
- Categories: Free Internship (Category A) or Charged Internship (Category C)
- Outcome: Dissertation, Thesis, Technical Report, Product Prototype, Project Report or Research Output
